I am currently attending the University of California, Santa Barbara as an Economics and Accounting double major. I graduated high school in the class of 2015 with a 4.3 GPA , and received an International Baccalaureate diploma with a total score of 30. I have taken several higher level and advanced placement courses in high school and understand what it takes to score high on AP and IB exams.
Experience
I have experience giving one-on-one tutor instruction with 9th and 10th graders in subjects such as Chemistry and Biology. However, I specialize in high school level English, Literature, and Writing. I received a score of 5 on both the AP Literature and the AP Language exams, a 6 in IB Literature, and a 34 in ACT Reading. I have a passion for writing and literature, and I understand what high school teachers are looking for in their students' writing. As a tutor, I will help students hone their skills as twenty-first century communicators and help them build confidence in their writing.
