Experience
I graduated from the University of California-Davis with a bachelor's in Physics. In 2010, I began tutoring students in physics labs. The experience during those years was invaluable to my development as an instructor. I learned the rewards that come with each student who develops their skills in math. I tutored students in calculus, algebra, trigonometry, the GRE Subject Test in Physics, AP calculus AB, and others. My goal as an instructor is to build knowledge from the ground up, starting from the basics and advancing as my students better understand the concepts. I believe that this is invaluable to total mastery of the subject, allowing them to better adapt to future topics. I build each Physics tutoring session around the individual student to ensure they achieve the highest understanding possible. In 2013, I graduated from California State University-Long Beach with a master's in Physics. Immediately afterwards, I began teaching students in math subjects. I work at the Cypress and Santa Ana colleges as a physics and astronomy professor. My summers are spent working as an AP physics tutor at local schools. Outside of education, I am a highly active person with an interest in acting, hiking, running, and gaming.
