I am currently a math teacher at Orange County Christian School. I have taught a variety of math subjects including pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, and precalculus. Prior to becoming a math teacher, I was a certified tutor at Solid Foundation Tutoring & Educational Services. I have 3 years of tutoring experience helping junior high school and high school students in every math subject imaginable, a couple science subjects (chemistry and physics), English, and writing. I also have experience helping students prepare for and improve their ACT and SAT scores. I enjoy tutoring because I like to help students better understand the material, and I like to help instill confidence and belief in students that they can do well in their classes with just a little bit of help. The smile on their faces after they finally understand the material, get every homework problem correct, and ace their tests is what makes being a tutor totally worth it.
